Job Description:

The Account Executive plays an essential role to our continued expansion in the SE Mid-Atlantic markets. She/he will be responsible for developing and cultivating new business in many different verticals. Our next team leader possesses high ethical and professional standards, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to persuasively tell InfoSec Advisors’ story, leveraging all resources that InfoSec Advisors offers.

The ideal candidates have the following qualities:

  • Confident – InfoSec Advisors’ consultants are leaders in the industry; we are looking for a candidate who knows she/he is a leader in their field
  • Tenacious – This position will work away from the InfoSec Advisors team.  The ideal candidate will be able to keep her/his business moving forward with mostly remote support from the SC based team.

Candidates must be well-versed in Information Security and have the ability to work in a fast-paced, energetic, and results-driven environment that is centered on security solutions, services, and selling.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve or exceed sales goals
  • Must be results-driven and capable of delivering consistent new business and grow existing business
  • Attend industry events and build executive level relationships
  • Collaborate with InfoSec Advisors’ leadership team in creating prospect and current client engagement events that generate leads and deepen current relationships
  • Partners with inside sales team by following up on opportunities and closing new business
  • Be able to travel to client sites in the region to persuasively and concisely present InfoSec Advisors’ value proposition, services and solutions, and qualify new business opportunities in a consultative manner
  • Track all sales activities in Salesforce
  • Perform other duties as required to fulfill this role

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in a Tech Account Management/Outside Sales B2B Role
  • Ideal, but not required: 2+ years in a consultative role in Information Security
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and true passion for selling and for the art of persuasion
  • Relationship builder with large executive-level network
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills–verbal and written
  • Experience in growing book of business and nurturing current relationships
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Superior organization, planning, time management, follow-up, and forecasting skills
  • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM tool

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree Required

Travel Required:

  • As required in region to achieve sales performance targets
